Useful Information

Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q.)

Do I need prior experience or good physical fitness?

You don't need a high fitness level or advanced experience, but this course is designed for people who have already had a first contact with climbing, whether in a climbing gym or on rock.
If you have never climbed before, we recommend starting with a climbing baptism, an activity focused on discovering the sport from scratch and getting familiar with the equipment and the feeling of verticality.
During the course, you will progressively learn the basics of sport climbing: belaying, maneuvers, safety, movement, and progression toward lead climbing. Routes and pacing are adapted to the group's level, so you don't need to be exceptionally strong or in peak physical condition, just eager to learn and enjoy the rock.

What equipment do I need to bring?

We take care of all the technical equipment. We will provide everything required for the activity: harness, helmet, ropes, belay devices, and climbing shoes.
You only need to bring:

  • comfortable or sportswear appropriate for the weather,
  • a small backpack with water and something to eat,
  • and sports or hiking shoes to walk to the climbing sector.
If you have your own equipment and want to bring it, we can inspect it before starting the activity.
What happens if it rains or there is bad weather?

Safety is our top priority. If the weather forecast does not allow the activity to take place with full safety and comfort, the guide will contact you in advance to postpone the course and find a new date that suits you, or to find an alternative sector where conditions allow it.

Where does the introductory course take place?

We look for sectors with comfortable access and a wide variety of easy routes (grades IV and V), ideal for learning both movement techniques and maneuvers in a controlled environment.

Are outdoor rock climbing courses safe?

Yes. The courses take place in sectors adapted for beginners, always using certified equipment and following strict safety protocols.
Additionally, you will be accompanied by a certified guide throughout the activity, learning all basic maneuvers step by step: belaying, tying essential knots, rope management, and moving safely on the wall.
The goal of the course is precisely to learn how to climb safely, comfortably, and confidently from day one.

How many people will be in the group?

We work with small groups to adapt the pace and offer personalized attention throughout the course.
Normally, groups consist of 4 to 6 people per guide, ensuring everyone gets to practice, ask questions, and make the most of the day without long waits.
