Collegats
Collegats is one of the best climbing areas in Pallars Sobirà, featuring multi-pitch routes, sport climbing, and bouldering in a spectacular Pyrenean setting. As a climbing guide in Pallars, it is one of my favorite areas due to its great variety and wild atmosphere.
Rock type
A sea of pebbles bound together over time, offering very characteristic climbing on "bolos", with accessible routes, plenty of holds, and continuous physical lines.
Denser and more compact, featuring generous holds, pockets, and crimps that will test your finger strength across technical slabs and athletic overhangs.

Ultimately, Collegats is a vast playground. From quiet and accessible sport climbing sectors to grand multi-pitch big walls with an adventurous atmosphere, every corner has its own unique personality.
El Niu
One of Collegats' most iconic sectors, featuring accessible routes, plenty of holds, and ideal rock for enjoying high-meter climbs.
L’Argenteria
One of the area's most emblematic spots, boasting unique rock formations and breathtaking views over the gorge.
La Pedrera
An elegant and technical limestone slab with more demanding routes where seventh and eighth grades take center stage.
Moles del Pessó
Large conglomerate walls with abundant holds and enjoyable climbing, ideal for discovering multi-pitch routes in Collegats.
Circ del Pessó
A more vertical and technical setting, featuring more demanding conglomerate lines with plenty of character.
La Portella
Ranging from simple, accessible routes at Portella Inferior to longer, more adventurous itineraries at Portella Superior.
Roca del Diable
One of the area's wildest and most spectacular walls, featuring more committing routes and an authentic mountain atmosphere.
